HAMBURGER RICE-A-RONI 
1 lb. ground meat
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
Salt & pepper
1 box beef flavor Rice-A-Roni
2 1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Brown meat. Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Remove from skillet. Add butter and Rice-A-Roni in skillet. Brown, add water and meat mixture and seasoning mix. Bring to a boil, then stir well. Lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook 25 to 3 minutes.

Very good! For more flavor, I used 1/2 beef broth and 1/2 water for the liquid. The dish benefitted from the addition of freshly-ground black pepper, so next time I will add it as it is cooking instead of afterward. Also I think it would benefit from the addition of some mushrooms, so next time I will add those. Thank you for helping turn a popular side dish into a tasty one-skillet meal.
