GINGERBREAD COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. lemon extract
3/4 c. evaporated milk
5 c. unbleached flour
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses

Cream butter and sugar. Add all ingredients together. Mix well. Chill 2 hours. Roll out, cut and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
