BLOND BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (7 oz.) bag butterscotch morsels
1/3 c. nuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla. Combine all dry ingredients and mix with soft mixture. Add morsels and nuts if desired. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
