BEEF HOUSE DINNER ROLLS 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. Crisco
3/4 c. boiling water
3/4 c. cold water
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
5 1/2 c. flour

Dissolve sugar, salt, and Crisco with boiling water. Add cold water and beaten egg. Dissolve warm water and yeast. Add to above mixture. Stir in flour, no more.

Place in refrigerator until ready to use. Pinch off balls for rolls into 3 round 9-inch greased cake pans. Let rise 2 1/2 hours. Bake 10-15 minutes in 450 degree oven.

TIP: Grease hands to form rolls, very sticky dough.
