MOCK GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. flour

Stir well together. Use electric mixer. Makes three 8-inch layers or one oblong pan. Bake cake mix as directed on package.

CAKE FROSTING:

2 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. maple syrup or white Karo syrup

Put all together. Beat with electric mixer until fluffy.
