APPLE DAPPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. tart apples, peeled and chopped
1 c. chopped coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Mix all cake ingredients until well blended. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk

Mix brown sugar, butter and milk. Boil for 2 minutes. Pour over hot cake while still in pan. Let cake cool completely before removing.
