3 eggs
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples

Mix ingredients well and put in 8 or 9 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. While cake is still hot, pour topping over cake while still in pan. Let set for several hours or overnight.

Topping:

1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar

Cook 2 1/2 minutes and pour over cake.
