ALMOND CHEESE BALL 
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. softened cream cheese
2 c. grated sharp cheese (8 oz.)
3 cloves fresh minced garlic
Dash Tabasco
1 c. slivered almonds
1 tbsp. butter

Combine first 4 ingredients and form into a ball. In skillet, toast almonds in butter until browned. Cool and insert, one by one, into cheese ball. Wrap in foil and allow to ripen in refrigerator for at least 48 hours. May then be frozen, if desired.
