MOM'S SUPER CINNAMON BUNS 
Mix:

1 c. sugar
3 well beaten eggs
1 pkg. dried yeast
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. WARM mashed potatoes
1 c. warm potato water

Work in. Add enough flour to make stiff dough. Let rise in greased bowl until double. Divide dough in 1/2 roll out in square. Spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins. Roll up like a jelly-roll. Slice in 1/2 to 1 inch pieces. Place in pan on topping.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. dark Karo
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cut rolled dough into 1 inch pieces. Lay on prepared topping. Let rise until double. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Immediately invert onto foil. Leave pan over to steam 10 to 15 minutes.
