PHILADELPHIA PECAN CINNAMON BUNS 
1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast
1/4 c. warm water
2 eggs
5 c. flour

Scald milk, add sugar, shortening and salt. Stir until dissolved. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to milk. Beat eggs and add. Gradually add flour and let raise to double in bulk. 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 recipe basic dough 3 tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. broken pecan meats 1/2 c. raisins

Cream 6 tablespoons butter and 6 tablespoons brown sugar. Spread on bottom and side of 9 inch skillet. Roll dough in oblong. Spread with remaining butter and sprinkle on remaining sugar, cinnamon, nuts and raisins. Roll like jelly roll and cut in 1 1/2 inch pieces. Place in skillet and let raise to double in bulk. Bake 30 minutes in 400 degree oven.
