PEANUT BUTTER BEER BREAD 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 can (12 oz.) regular beer

In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; blend well. Add butter and peanut butter. Stir in beer until just blended. Place mixture in a greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Serve slices toasted with butter and jam. Yield 1 loaf (about 18 slices).
