CREAMY APPLE CRISP 
3 c. sliced, peeled tart baking apples, 4 apples
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon

CRISP CRUMB TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter, room temperature
1/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Put apples in 2 quart casserole or baking dish. Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour, egg, and vanilla until light. Stir cream mixture into apples. For topping, cut butter into oatmeal, flour, sugars, and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden. Serves 4-6.
