CHEESE CAKE PIE 
PIE CRUST:

1 pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
2 tbsp. white sugar
3 tbsp. shortening

Blend vanilla wafer crumbs, sugar and shortening together and press into 11-inch pie pan or large cake pan. Save some crumbs for topping.

FILLING:

2 lg. (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 pt. (1 c.) sour cream
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Have ingredients at room temperature. Put cheese into beater and add sugar gradually, then eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Then add 1/2 pint sour cream, mixed with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Put into 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until set.
