JOHN & JOSIES SAUCE 
2 lg. cans Italian tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. oil
1 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/8 tsp. pepper
Parmesan cheese, optional
2 1/2 c. water
Spaghetti, cooked & drained

In 8 quart saucepan. Heat oil; saute garlic until light brown; stir in paste, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, basil, oregano, sugar and pepper. Heat to boiling, reduce heat; simmer gently, uncovered for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
