MICHIGAN APPLE CRISP 
5 lg. baking apples
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. oatmeal

Peel and slice apples as for pie. Place in 9 inch pie plate. Combine last 6 items and mix until crumb like. Sprinkle entire mixture over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with ice cream or fresh whip cream.
