HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. shredded frozen potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
12 oz. American cheese, grated
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 sm. onion, chopped
2 c. cornflakes, crushed
1/2 c. melted butter

Place thawed potatoes in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Mix together next 6 ingredients and pour over potatoes. Top with crushed corn flakes and drizzle butter over all. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 12. Can be refrigerated and baked later.
