APPLE CRISP 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
6 baking apples, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1-2 tbsp. butter

Mix first 8 ingredients with pastry blender. Set aside. Put apples in pie plate and add sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter. Sprinkle dry ingredients evenly over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
