2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda, add to milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas, 3
1/2 c. chopped nuts; optional
2 eggs, unbeaten

FILLING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 mashed banana
1 c. chopped pecans

Alternately mix dry and wet ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Ice when cool.
