BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 c. (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. (6 oz.) pkg. Nestles semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
Chopped nuts (if desired)

Sift together 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 1 cup water, 1/3 cup cooking oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Combine cream cheese mixture, egg, salt, Nestles morsels. Add on top of chocolate ingredients in muffin cups. (last)

Beat well until combined. Fill muffin cups lined with paper baking cups 1/3 full, with chocolate batter. Top each one with heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and chopped nuts if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
