BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 c. cream cheese (1 pkg.)
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine in a mixing bowl the first 4 ingredients. Beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Set aside. In another bowl sift together the next 5 ingredients, then add the remaining 4 ingredients; mix well.

Line muffin tins with liners. Fill cups half full with batter, drop by spoonful cream cheese mixture on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
