Homemade Bailey's Irish Cream

Great recipe! I make this Bailey's every Christmas and it's always in high demand. Much less expensive than the "Brand Name" Bailey's and better as I always add a bit extra whiskey, melted chocolate and cream to make it a little more "indulgent". Cheers.

Hey! Quick question... I was wondering about melted chocolate but thought it would make it lumpy... Is that not a problem because of the blender? Does it just kind of look like vanilla bean bits (for lack of a better way to describe it)?

Love this recipe, been a favourite for a very long time. I don't add the almond, but I add a dash of coconut essence, or rum essence depends on my taste on the day. I love that one bottle of scotch/whiskey can make 3 litres of baileys, now that's economical. :) I make extra and pour it into ice cube trays. They are nice with butterscotch schnapps poured over them. Damon, as with all recipes, just adjust to your taste, but mostly - sit back, relax and enjoy. :)
