LOUISIANA PORK CHOPS 
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 (1/2") pork loin chops
2 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. each chopped onion & chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. each salt & pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

In oven proof skillet, heat oil; fry pork chops until lightly brown, turning once. Place 1/2 cup of rice on each pork chop. Sprinkle onion and green pepper on top of rice.

In small bowl, mix together remaining ingredients. Pour evenly over rice mixture. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
