BACON-CHESTNUT WRAPS 
8 slices bacon, cut in half
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained
1 lg. green pepper, cut into 16 pieces
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. plum or grape jelly

Place half of bacon on a microwave roasting rack set inside of 12"x8"x2" baking dish. Cover with paper towels, and microwave at HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until bacon is slightly brown, but not crisp. Repeat with remaining bacon slices. Wrap each piece of bacon around a water chestnut and a piece of green pepper; secure with a wooden pick. Place in an 8" square baking dish. Stir together remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over wrapped chestnuts; refrigerate 2 hours. Microwave at HIGH for 6 to 9 minutes or until done. Yield: 16 appetizer servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
