LEMON JELLO POUND CAKE | |
3/4 c. boiling water 1 (3 oz.) box lemon Jello 1 box yellow cake mix 3/4 c. salad oil 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Dissolve Jello in boiling water and set aside. Mix cake mix with salad oil. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well. Add Jello and vanilla, then stir all together and pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Top with glaze while hot. GLAZE: 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/2 c. lemon juice Combine 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1/2 cup lemon juice and pour over hot cake. |
