PEPPERED ORANGE STEAK 
1 (2 lb.) beef top steak, 1 1/2 inch thick
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. sodium-reduced soy sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cracked black pepper
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 clove garlic, minced
Orange slices for garnish

Place steak in glass baking dish. Stir together next 7 ingredients and pour over steak. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight, turning once. Remove steak; place on broiler pan. Strain cracked pepper, garlic, etc., from marinade and pat on steak.

Broil 3 inches from source of heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold. Slice thinly. Garnish with orange slices. Makes 8 servings.
