HOT SPICY CHICKEN WINGS 
1 doz. chicken wings
1 egg
2 tsp. butter
2 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. 5 spice powder
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cut up chicken wings at joint. Mix egg, butter, hot sauce, salt, sugar, 5 spice powder and pour over chicken. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Add water. Stir in flour, baking soda and cornstarch. Mix. Heat oil in pan. Fry 5 to 6 at a time until brown turning a few times. Drain on paper towel. Ready to serve.
