1 pkg. Oreos
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 container Cool Whip

Thaw ice cream to room temperature. Separate entire package of cookies. Scrape filling out of cookies. Crush cookies and spread on bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Reserve 1/4 to 1/2 cup crumbs to decorate top.

In a large bowl mix ice cream and Cool Whip. Pour over Oreo crumbs. Decorate and freeze until solid.
