HALAWE SMEAD 
1 stick butter, clarified
1 cup semolina
1 cup sugar
1 quart whole milk

Lightly brown semolina in hot butter. Add sugar and milk to the hot pan. Stir occasionally until fully thickened.

Place in a 9-inch cake pan and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated 350°F oven.
