JULIE NIXON'S CHICKEN DIVAN 
1 pkg. Minute Rice
4 deboned chicken breasts
2 (10 oz. ea.) pkgs. frozen broccoli
2 (10 oz. ea.) cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Boil rice; precook chicken and place in a bowl. Precook broccoli and place in bowl. Spread broccoli in casserole dish and place chicken on top.

In a bowl combine soups, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder. Pour on chicken. Sprinkle chicken with shredded cheese and bread crumbs. Pour melted butter over crumbs.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes and serve over rice.

Serves 4.

THE BEST! 😊️ I was introduced to this recipe on TV, Mike Douglas, ran from 1962 - 1982. I have friends that still remember & brag about this delicious casserole. I still make it quite often.

Still the very best! I make this so often - now I add dried cranberries also - it gives it a little hint of sweetness and I add A LOT of curry powder - I never use low fat soups - only the good old Campbell's cream of chicken.

I have been making this dish since 1972. It has been a family favorite ever since. My grandson first had it at Christmas 2021. I had to make it twice while there. He had 3 helpings this last visit. It's a keeper!!!
I agree add more curry than the recommended amount.

As the other reviewers, I have been making THIS recipe since 1972. I too
saw it on TV. It has been a family favorite ever since. The reviewer who talked about her grandson is a duplicate situation to mine. My grandson loves it and he can be fussy. I have to admit, It has to be this recipe and no other.
