CHOCOLATE ALMOND COCONUT BARS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. coconut
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (2 3/4 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch square or 11 x 7 inch pan. In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter until fine crumbs form. Press into bottom of prepared pan.

In same bowl, combine coconut and 3/4 cup of condensed milk (reserve the rest for topping). Spread coconut mixture over crust and sprinkle almonds evenly over all. Bake for 20-25 minutes until light brown. Cool 10 minutes.

In small saucepan blend the reserved 1/2 cup condensed milk and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate melts. Stir in vanilla. Spread over warm baked mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Remove from refrigerator about 15-20 minutes and cut into bars.
