This has been a "Get Well" dessert to go along with the meal many times. From sick elders at church, to having to triple the recipe for my cousins and family, this recipe is sure to put a smile on anyone's face. 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in syrup 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut in thin slices Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Dump pineapple into pan. Spread evenly. Dump pie filling on top of pineapple. Spread. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of cherry pie filling and pineapple. Lay butter pads on top and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Submitted by: Abbey | |
