CHOCOLATE WALNUT CANDY COOKIES 
2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soft butter
1 egg unbeaten
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. walnuts

Melt 1 (6 ounce) package of chocolate chips over hot water. Stir together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate, milk and then flour sifted with baking powder, then walnuts and second package of chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool slightly. Yield 3 1/2 to 4 dozen cookies. Soft center and crisp outside.
