BEEF MUSHROOM STEW | |
2 lbs. beef stew meat 2 tbsp. flour 3 tbsp. oil 2 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 6 sm. potatoes, diced 6 carrots, cut into chunks 4 lg. onions, quartered 1/4 c. soy sauce 1 c. water 1/2 lb. chopped mushrooms Roll meat in flour. Heat oil in large pan with a cover; brown the meat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Add the potatoes, carrots, and onions to the meat. Then add soy and water. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Makes 6 servings. |
