MUSHROOM DELIGHT BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
16 oz. can tomatoes
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. molasses
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. water
1 c. carrots
3 to 4 oz. can mushrooms or 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
Mashed potatoes or rice

Break ground beef into small chunks and brown in a heavy saucepan or electric fry pan. Add tomatoes, onion, salt, celery salt and pepper. Combine cider vinegar, molasses, ginger and water and add to the meat. Cover and simmer or place, covered in 300 degree oven. Cook until no pink shows in the meat. Add the carrots and mushrooms. Cook until the carrots are tender. Serve with mashed potatoes or cooked rice. Yield: 10 - 1/2 cup servings.
