BEER BREAD 
1 (12 oz.) bottle beer
3 1/4 c. self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 baking loaf pan, buttered

Mix the beer with the flour and sugar until a sticky dough is formed. Allow to rise in a covered bowl for an hour or so. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake in well-greased loaf pan for 1 hour or until lightly browned. Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with butter.
