BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts

Mix above ingredients and bake in 8 x 8-inch pan for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. butter, browned
1 tbsp. cream or milk
2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix above ingredients and frost cooled brownies.
