CHERRY - A - CREAM CHEESE PIE 
CRUST:

2 sticks butter
1 c. pecans
2 c. plain flour

Mix butter, flour and pecans. Put in oblong baking dish. Spread on bottom evenly (you may have to use your hands). Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. (Be careful not to burn the pecans.) Then cool completely.

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 box Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip. Place on top of cooled crust. Chill for about an hour the top with pie filling. (Any flavor may be used.)
