CHEOREG (ARMENIAN DINNER ROLLS)
2 c. lukewarm milk
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. butter
4 tbsp. Crisco

Melt all the above with scalded milk.

3 eggs at room temperature
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Whip all the above together.

Two packages powder yeast - put in small bowl and 1/4 cup warm water and dissolve (10 minutes). Mix lukewarm mixture into egg mixture, whip, add yeast slowly, add flour. Add enough flour so dough is not sticky (about 7 cups). Let dough stand in warm place for two hours - sealed - it should double in size.

Roll small pieces of dough into strips about 8 inches long and as thick as a finger and shape into circles. Lay flat on a cookie sheet. Let stand again for 1 hour (cover with towel). Brush with egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional). Place in 375 degree oven until lightly browned. Enjoy.
