12 (7 oz.) bottles 7-Up, chilled

Spoon 3 pints of sherbet into punch bowl. Let sherbet soften at room temperature, about 5 minutes. Slowly pour in chilled 7-Up. Stir slightly to mix with sherbet. Float generous scoopfuls of remaining sherbet on top of punch. Makes 36 punch cup servings.
