1/4 c. butter
Scant 1 c. sugar
2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Pinch of nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks. Mix other ingredients and add to butter and sugar. Add well-beaten egg whites last. Pour in pie pan and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 325 degrees for 1/2 hour.
