GREEK SALAD 
2 cloves garlic, halved
2 heads lettuce, torn in bite-size pieces
1 c. chopped celery
6 tomatoes, cut into wedges
2 sm. onions or scallions
1 green pepper, sliced
10 or 12 radishes, sliced
Salt and pepper
2 tsp. oregano
1/2 c. olive oil
6 tbsp. vinegar
Ripe olives
Anchovies, if desired
Feta cheese, crumbled

Rub wooden salad bowl with clove of garlic. Wash and prepare vegetables. Combine in bowl. Add seasonings, oil, and vinegar. Toss ingredients together. Add olives, anchovies, and feta cheese.
