PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH COLE SLAW | |
1 lg. head cabbage, chopped 1 med. green pepper, diced 1 med. onion, diced 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 c. vinegar 1 tsp. mustard seed Mix cabbage, green pepper, and onion. Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan; cook for 3-4 minutes. Pour over cabbage mixture; refrigerate for 1-2 days. Mix thoroughly before serving. Serves 4-6. |
