OLD FASHIONED SCALLOPED CORN | |
1 can cream style sweet corn 1 1/2 c. coarsely broken crackers 1 egg 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 c. milk 3 tbsp. chopped onion 1 tsp. sugar 3 tbsp. pimento or green pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter (melted) Combine corn with half of the broken crackers. Beat egg, add milk, seasonings, onion and pimento. Combine with corn. Turn into 9 inch pie pan. Mix butter with remaining crackers; sprinkle over corn. Bake at 375 degrees about 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings. |
