ORIGINAL GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 (1 lb.) cans cut green beans, drained or 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained 3/4 c. milk
10 3/4 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/8 tsp. Durkee ground black pepper
2.8 oz. can Durkee French fried onions

Combine beans, milk, soup, pepper and 1/2 can French fried onions; pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining onions; bake uncovered 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Makes 6 servings.

Microwave directions: Prepare as above. Pour into microwave - safe 1 1/2 quart dish. Cook, covered, on HIGH 8 to 10 minutes; turn and stir half - way through. Top with remaining onions, cook, uncovered, on HIGH 1 minute. Let stand 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
