CRISPY CURRIED TILAPIA | |
Works with all brands of air fryers. 2 lb. fresh tilapia fillets Cut tilapia fillets into large pieces (roughly 4 per fillet) and pat dry. Marinade: 2 tbsp. ginger powder 2 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. cumin powder 1 1/4 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. turmeric powder 1 tbsp. ground coriander 4 tsp. vinegar 1/2 cup tomato puree 1/2 tsp. salt In a bowl, mix ginger powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, turmeric powder, ground coriander, vinegar, tomato puree and salt. Place fish in the mixture and marinate for 30 minutes. Air Frying: breadcrumbs (your choice) vegetable oil Brush air fryer basket with oil. Roll the marinated fish in breadcrumbs and spray or drizzle with oil. Place fish in air fryer with double-layer accessory (if available, otherwise cook in two batches) and cook for 7 minutes at 350°F. Serves 6. |
