REALLY DIFFERENT RAISIN PIE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 pkg. pie crust mix or 1 stick

Beat butter and sugar together until creamy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Mixture will look curdled. Add raisins and walnuts. Crumble in pie crust mix, stirring until well distributed. Turn into greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until set. Garnish with whipped cream if desired.
