"LIGHT" TRIFLE | |
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding with nutrisweet 1 fat free pound cake or angel food cake 1 container light Cool Whip Fresh strawberries (sliced & mashed to make juice) (4 pt.) save a few whole ones for garnish or 2 boxes frozen sliced strawberries, defrosted Slivered almonds Prepare pudding as directed. Cut cake into cubes. Layer in trifle bowl: Pudding, cake, strawberries. Repeat. Leave 1/4 inch from top. Cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with almonds and garnish with strawberries. Refrigerate overnight. |
