BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES | |
1 cup (2 sticks) butter 2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs, well beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt Cream butter. Add sugar, well beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add to the first mixture. Form dough into loaf and refrigerate until firm. Heat oven to 350°F. Slice dough into thin slices bake at 350°F for 8 minutes.
