1 box chocolate cake mix

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Soften cream cheese and then mix all ingredients together for filling.

Prepare 1 box cake mix as per directions on box. In greased and floured cupcake pans or use paper cupcake liners, fill cupcake well 1/2 full of cake mixture then drop teaspoon cream cheese filling mixture into each well on top of cake batter. Bake as directed on box of cake mix. Makes 2 dozen.
