TURKEY NEWBURG 
6 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. half and half
1 chicken bouillon cube
4 oz. diced mushrooms
3 c. cubed, cooked turkey

In saucepan melt butter. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and thyme. Heat until bubbly. Gradually stir in chicken broth, half and half, bouillon and mushrooms. Heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add turkey; simmer until heated through, 15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. To serve, spoon over split popover, rice, or noodles.
